We’re back out again this Thursday night for Club NME at The Annex. We’re on at 10pm, and have been hard at work to bring yet more new fare. Plus, our mates The Voxys are playing at 9. Like us? You’ll like them.

“First efforts from bands are usually not this good all the way through. Hot Seconds has a great record that’s never too heavy, never too sappy, and a perfect blend of pop elements with a rock backbone. As you can see from their MySpace page, they’re still VERY undiscovered. I would expect that to change as word gets out about this band. Can’t say much of their live set… yet. But if they can pull off the digital elements and still rock out, this band has a great future.”

hot seconds have just finished up production on their 10-song debut album, which is currently being mastered by Streaky (Kasabian, Snow Patrol, The Duke Spirit, Groove Armada, Death in Vegas, Fatboy Slim, The Go! Team, The Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets, etc.). Release date scheduled for late august 2008. stay tuned for order info!
